I bought this second hand in 2017 from a marine engineer who had looked after it.
Since then it has never let me down. The only reason I’m selling it is I am just outside the new ULEZ zone and this is not ULEZ compliant.
It had a Full service history from March 2008 up until March 2017 (10 stamps), (ebay wouldnt let me had these dates in the listing heading)
I’ve got reciepts totalling in excess of £2800.00 including a new battery in 2019, new front discs and pads in 2020, and I had the tracking done in June 2021
I’ve included MOTS going back to 2015 (before I owned it)
It had a product recall done at a local main dealer (handbrake) done in 2019.
It recently passed its MOT with only 3 advisories, those being that both headlights need cleaning and/or polishing and as it had a repair to the windscreen (I think last year), it left a blemish which I couldnt see (but the MOT man did)
In the interests of full disclosure, it used to have a slight problem accelerating up hill (and for some reason, only one hill in Kent). I had the air mass meter changed and it seems to have sorted it.
The heater/demister has very recently developed a problem where it doesnt come on but this is very rare Either way, if you turn the ignition off and on again it usually sorts it.
Also a light comes on on the dash once in a blue moon. I’ve repeatedly tried to get it tested but as it doesnt have any effect my garage simply told me to ignore it as it doesnt affect driving the car.
It also has a really small dent on the passenger front wing which was there when I bought it, it hasnt deteriorated since I bought it 6 years ago and obviously makes no difference to the performance of the car.
I’d originally listed this with 12 months tax but I’ve recently been told I’m not allowed to sell it with tax so I’ve changed the listing and will need to reclaim this meaning (as with any other car), you will need to arrange tax yourself.
Considering you will get £2800 worth of reciepts alone, I think a starting price of £1300 and a buy it now of £2500 are both fair as it will ensure you get a bargain.
In summary, this is a reliable car with years of cheap motoring left in it.
If you live outside of ULEZ and want a cheap run around then this is for you.
Will need collecting from Ashford Middlesex (NOT KENT), Nearest motorway is M3 JCT 1 or M25 Jct 13.
