As expected, it drives wonderfully with a sweet, smooth gearbox that pulls well through all the gears with no nasty knocks and bangs from the suspension and the engine runs sweet as a nut and pulls well.
Driving the car it fells really tight and responsive, if you’ve test driven a few you’ll notice that when they get around this age the steering response starts to go abit loose and the response is lacklustre but on this car it’s totally the opposite which is only a reflection of the mileage and history. Best part about it is because it’s a 1 litre, it barely uses any fuel knocking about town going to the shops etc.
Bodywork wise the cars in great condition for the age compared to others out there, the paint is excellent for the age and really pops in the sun. The only issues it has is a dent on the passenger rear arch as shown in the pictures.
Would make an excellent first car or cheap run around because it’s pennies on the pound with maintenance, insurance and running costs.
